The Role

We are looking for a Park Ranger to undertake the hands on management of a historic, Grade II
listed 260 acre estate, made up of parkland, woodland, gardens and lakes. Working alongside the
Garden and Park Manager, the successful candidate will continue the ongoing restoration of the
estate along with the day to day management of the park. The role is for 32-40 hours per week so will suit both part time and full time applicants.

Applicants must have experience of working with and managing volunteers. The successful
applicant will be highly motivated and work well as part of a small team. Ideally applicants
will have experience in livestock management, machinery use such as brushcutters and blowers
and it is desirable for them to have chainsaw and spraying certificates.
