Context
The communication material will be used to showcase UNICEF Guinea-Bissau’s work, contributing to raising awareness about the situation of children and UNICEF’s response in the country. The online volunteers will support UNICEF’s efforts towards achieving the SDGs Goal 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for 2 online volunteer to produce 20 designs of UNICEF Guinea-Bissau reports, communication and visibility material, including videos and animations for the Conference of the Parties (COP29).
Specific tasks:
– Create draft designs/products taking into account the audience (general public, donors, partners and stakeholders) and UNICEF branding guidelines.
– Create draft designs based on UNICEF requirements and discuss the designs with the focal point/communications team.
– Make the required revisions following feedback from UNICEF.
– Develop the designs according to agreed requirements.
The design/layout/videos should follow our corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the online volunteers in advance, as well as additional background documents.
The online volunteers will work under the guidance of UNICEF Guinea-Bissau Communication Officer, and in close collaboration with the Communication Associate.
Required Skills and Experience
Candidates should have professional experience in graphic design, video editing/production with previous experience in designing document layouts and must have in-depth knowledge of graphic design applications. In addition, they should have good verbal and written communication skills.
A degree in graphic design or a related field is considered an asset.
