The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Nepal is currently implementing a project Strengthening Health resilience in Nepal-HIV, TB & Malaria (Global Fund) that requires the services of a National Consultant- Laboratory equipment specification, calibration and maintenance planning to perform the work described as per the attached Terms of Reference (ToR) – Annex 1.

Objectives of the assignment

Rational of TOR

– Develop calibration & maintenance plan: Create a costed framework aligned with national guidelines, covering calibration, preventive/corrective maintenance, and AMC.
– Review technical specifications: Ensure equipment specifications for calibration, maintenance, repair, and procurement align with national standards and operational needs.
– Prepare cost estimates: Provide detailed estimates to support efficient planning and decision-making.
